I stopped on today in order to see the items I'd been considering buying in person. The staff were incredibly helpful and a staff member spent time with me going over all the bag options so I could get the one that most met my needs. I already know that Patagonia is high quality but the in person service was also amazing.

The sell person was rude and didn’t really liked us be in their store. Not sure if it was a racist behavior! The moment we entered he start explaining basic thing about the difference between a t shirt and long sleeve. We didn’t even asked about it. Then I asked for medium size of a t shirt I liked. He said he’ll be back with that size. But never came.

Great store with a lot of neat clothing, accessories and other items.
The recycled black hole bags are very well constructed and designed to last.
This season's bags are made from recycled plastic bottles.
Weekly yoga class is a plus.

Patagonia's returns process told me that I would be charged $7.00 to return items even to a store, but the authorization process did not charge me that fee. Confusing, but a good outcome because paying to return items would be a dealbreaker for me!

The customer service of this store is lackluster compared to stores of similar brands. I highly recommend checking out an REI, Gearhead, or competitor’s store instead.

Find it really frustrating that the Patagonia stores are closed in Chicago because of the weather “inclement “ we’re in the Midwest this is what we do here and what Patagonias whole clothing line is about. It’s about culture. I’m from Texas spend a lot of time in arctic temperatures and settled down up here in the Midwest. I know it is -5 but there is no snow or ice and this ain’t the south where things close because it’s cold. I need to return something and last three days y’all have been closed. Get back to work Midwest culture and grit. Mind you every other store on the block open. And the sign on your window says you’re open at 10am Monday through Saturday. No signage says you’re closed otherwise is posted.
